REEM J. BELLO focuses
her practice on bankruptcy and insolvency matters and general business
litigation. Ms. Bello received her undergraduate degrees in political science and English literature from the University of California at Irvine in 1995, where she graduated
magna cum laude. Ms. Bello received her law degree from the University of Southern California in 1998 where she was a member of the Hale Moot Court Honors Program. She served a judicial externship to the Honorable Alan M. Ahart, United States Bankruptcy Judge for the Central District of California, in the Summer of 1996 and a judicial externship to the Honorable Kathleen P. March, United States Bankruptcy Judge for the Central District of California from Fall 1997 to Spring 1998. From August 1998 to September 1999, Ms. Bello served a judicial clerkship to the Honorable Kathleen P. March, United States Bankruptcy Judge for the Central District of California. Ms. Bello was an associate with Arter & Hadden LLP before joining Weiland, Golden, Smiley, Wang Ekvall & Strok, LLP in 2002. She is a member of the
Federal Bar Association, the Orange County Bankruptcy Forum, the Commercial Law and Bankruptcy Section of the Orange County Bar Association, and the Women Lawyers Association of Los
Angeles, the California Women Lawyers' Association, the Orange County
Women Lawyers' Association and the Arab American Lawyers' Association
